Spanish Beginners

This course is for complete beginners and those who know a little Spanish and want to refresh it before continuing to more advanced structures. As such, you will cover the most basic functions of the language: greetings, giving and asking personal information about yourself and others (name, nationality, profession, age, telephone numbers and email) expressing basic intentions, explaining reasons, talking about the weather, describing places, and forming basic questions (who, what, when, how many, etc).
The grammatical points covered include the distinction between masculine and feminine, and singular and plural. The present tense of regular verbs, plus the verbs ser y estar. We will also look at the Spanish equivalent of “The” and the interrogative particles needed to make basic questions. Accordingly, the vocabulary will include numbers, nationalities, professions, class vocabulary, hobbies and leisure activities (to study, to read, to mark, to go out, to watch a movie...) weather and geographical vocabulary.
This class is taught in a relaxed, friendly environment.
